Other activities: martial arts, snowboarding, chillin with the katz, and sword fights.

This kat started b-boyin when he met mykee swerve (his mentor), who taught him the importance of the foundations as well as the spirit of hip hop. They rolled as the c sik circles cru and he was known back then as b-boy munk-e. With school ish relocating the katz. Swerve now up in e-dot swings with the Filthee Groove Rats. munk-e then formed a cru called the 2GC cru (affiliated with Kings of Style). Family emphasis was the base and all the katz lived together. Once again school ish got in the middle. c-dot is the city in which he resides now with the new tagged name of b-boy-san. Meeting b-boy-IC during his jamz, and then meeting up with b-boy IO they formed, along with another kat, the victimz of rhythm cru. Stumbling upon and recruiting Moonwalker, this fresh cru had an entwinement of intelligence and family attitude. Then VOR met up with Bboy Phinatikz and merged to form Eclektic Sul Stylz Cru. An eclektic group of katz makes SAN enjoy the vibe from this cru. As he always says, " we all family".

Tariq aka moonwalker

Years breakin: 1 yr
Hometown: Calgary, AB
Other activities: ice hockey, sking, and keeping my ride sparkly kleen.

Allright well, this b-boy just started his deal this yr when he met Hide from the former Victims of Rhythem Cru, things progressed from there as he taught me more about breakin, eventually leading to ESS. Despite just learning how to rock the floor, poppin has been in my blood since 1996, following the stylz of Micheal Jackson, hence I got the nick name Moonwalker. Actually my love for hip hop and dancing will stem back to 1992 when I used to bust out the old school styles with the running man, and droppin da needle. The ESS kru is like my second family, RESPECT YA'LL.

Dave aka B-boy Bionic

Years Breakin: 3 years
Hometown: Calgary, AB
Other activities: Skateboarding, snowboarding, chillin, and partying

His story starts out during the first year of SPB (Senator Patrick Burns Junior High). He didn't know a thing about bboyin. Slowly his two main men Chris (bboy fokz) and Tyler (bboy dis-logic) got into bboyin' drawing him in him into the hip-hop culture. Now formed into a trio they started the jounrey not really knowing what to do or where to go. As the time went by they became better and better eventually entered their first competition together with Shorty (bboy SHorty). They lost horribly. More time went by and they entered more comps and had opportunities to break with local proffecionals such as, bboy Presto, Jay, Rahule, "T", Aaron and Tyler. During the last year the trio split up because of stupid reasons. Now during the begining of the summer bionic and fokz's new quadro with SHorty and John met Hide (bboy san) and Tariq (moonwalker) and formed ESSC (Eclektic Sul Stylz Cru). Bboy'z and HiP- HoP 4 ever! peace

Years breakin: years
Hometown: St. George's, Grenada, WI
Other activities: choreographing, volleyball, writing, and playing the guitar.

This girl entered the breakin community half-way through her first year of uni. these intimidatin guys, barely said their 'hi's before goin back to their floor work, locks and freezes. Like a breeze is how they made it look, but they took me in, nevertheless, even though i wasn't the best. But practice paid off, as i attacked the uprock and finally hit the floor with a taste for more. Eventually my freeze came with ease. So i got madd love to give, to my old cru the Qkidz. Who brought up in the world as a true to heart bgurl. But when uni was done, I had to find another one. A cru that was as down as my boys in K-town. So now back in Calgary, I've found a new family. One so eklectik that our suls just connected, and with kick-ass stylz for miles, i just had to, be a part of the EsS Kru.

Chris aka Bboy Fokz

Years breakin: 3
Hometown: Victoria, B.C.
Other activities: snowboarding, bmxing, chillin with my friends.

This bboy started out really slow and wasn't really introduced into the deep true concepts of bboyizm, or even hip-hop at all. He started off by getting taught by a bboy who only talked about power and had never introduced groundwork to him. This caused him to have great difficulties trying to learn from there on...not knowing the bout footwork and style he went on exploring and searching to find out what the hip-hop culture was all about. Soon he had started a krew with dave, tyler and shortie and they all went out exploring aswell. One day we met up with some UofC students and breaked together. After feeling a tight vibe, they all decided to form a krew together, which is now the Eklectik Sul Stylz Krew. Sharing moves and a tight bond, we all keep growing tighter and closer..still exploring the culture of hip-hop.

John Ng aka Ekliptix

Years Bboying: 2
Hometown: Calgary, AB (but born in Edmonton)
Other Activities:

My story is kinda messed so bare wit me aight? It started with my gr.8 year, back when the dinosaurs were roaming. I watched Jay Lepke (Childhood break hero #1) bust out, and David Jung (Childhood break hero #2) do his thing and I wanted to get into it. I influenced a few broz to break wit me, such as Rob (Dj Ingenius) however he knew that this wasn’t his element, and quit shortly after. I put my heart into learning all about hip hop, and arrived at The Cave (whack place) where I met Shortie (Bboy Shortie). He introduced me to Dave (Bboy Bionic) and Chris (Fokz). Sadly I quit breakin (a few times) for a while, and made many poor choices with my life. After a while, I arrived at the U wit Shortie, Dave, and Fokz who introduced me to Hide (Bboy San) and Tariq (Moonwalker). We then decided to form a crew, along with Trevor and Tim. I had second thoughts about breakin an the cru, and nearly left. Now I see that this is where I belong, and enjoy the ideal of Family brought in by Hide. To me this cru is family, and we gonna tear it up.

Years Djin: 1 1/2
Hometown: Calgary, AB (but born in Edmonton)
Other Activities: Beach V-ball, Chillin, Record Digging.

Alrite, this is how it started, Ingenious got into breaking from a friend from school, John. He only dabbled in it and decided it was not his "Element". Shortly after he decided to buy turntables, from that moment he was hooked, He had found his true "Element." After going to the local YMCA Ingenious met up with B-Boy Shortie through John and we have been tight ever since. About a year passed, and at Shorties b-day party (where he was introduced to Chris and Dave) he was told that a serious crew what being formed (ESSK,) he decided to take the role of Dj and was down 4 whatever. Although he has never performed infront of anyone besides his close friends, he has a desire to get better and has a goal of blowing up as a Dj. The organization and family like atmosphere has made his experience all the better. "It’s a Fact This Cats More Felt Than Slipmats"
